I have a white poodle and I was wondering if there are any non-toxic pet safe pink hair dyes for dogs. I know some groomers do this, but I can't seem to find one that does.

I really wouldn't recommend it. I'm not sure that they make any dyes that wouldn't irritate their skin, and you're probably either going to have to wait till it grows out or shave it off.

I haven't seen anything - but I wouldn't recommend it. If you've ver died your hair - you know what a pain it can be. I can only imagine how much work it would be to get a dog's hair done!

I have seen ail polish for dogs though. It was called pawlish - too bad my dogs are boys!

There is an article about coloring dogs in Groomer to Groomer. It tells what products you can use. Have Fun!! [Smile] http://groomertogroomer.com/GTG_22_8.html

Wonder if dogs feel embarrassment putting up with us humans?

I have used kool-aid before to dye my dogs hair. If you need to know how just email me. And it didn't cause any reaction. But I have a web site that I am about to buy dye from for dogs. I will write back and tell you how it works.

Have you ever watched "Celebrity Pets?" The host's dog (Bunny) is coloured fuchsia and its an all natural dye.

Bunny is more purple in this one
