I have a one yr old Shih-poo. I clip her nails often yet they are still extremely sharp when she jumps on people. Is it safe to file them? If so, do I just use a regular emory board? Thanks in advance for any advice!

It won't harm the dog's nails but you will go thru a ton of emery boards. Most of them sold for dogs are metal.
