You need to take him to a vet. If he was eating the food before, he's not not eating it now because he doesn't like it. It's been four days now, so I doubt that it's just because he's in new place. When I got one of my dogs, he stopped eating about 3-4 days after we got him. We took him to the vet and he had parvo. The vet told us that that's one of the number one signals in young puppies. You're right, puppies especially should not be eating human food. Another consideration is that he's figured out that if he does not eat the puppy food, he'll get table food. I would definately take him to a vet though to be checked.
