i just got a chihuahua mix puppy on sun. my brother gave it to me and he also gave me some of the dog food that the puppy has been eating. well he never eats it i thought that it was because he was in a new place but its been 4 days and he still doesnt eat ive gotten him dry puppy food and he will take a bite and thats it for the whole day . my nephew feeds him people food which i know isnt good for him but thats all he'll eat i dont know what to do???

You need to take him to a vet. If he was eating the food before, he's not not eating it now because he doesn't like it. It's been four days now, so I doubt that it's just because he's in new place. When I got one of my dogs, he stopped eating about 3-4 days after we got him. We took him to the vet and he had parvo. The vet told us that that's one of the number one signals in young puppies. You're right, puppies especially should not be eating human food. Another consideration is that he's figured out that if he does not eat the puppy food, he'll get table food. I would definately take him to a vet though to be checked.
