My friends dog is suddenly weak. We might think it is bad food or botulism. The symptoms are weakness. when it stands up it falls down and then it won't be able to get up again. Does anyone know what this could be?

I think a visit to the vet's is probably best right now...I'm really not sure what it could be but anything sudden like that is worth a visit.

Definitely Vet time. Could be anything from poisoning to a spinal injury. Vet ASAP!

PS. Hi everyone I'm new here [Big Grin]

This could be a really urgent matter, take my advice and tell them to visit the vet. Also if their vet cannot give them the right information then they should consider on changing their vet for more help. That's if they want to.

Yes, please tell us how the problem is now, and did you go to the vet?
