My dog mindy is acting weird tonight she has been panting for almost an hour and she hangs around my feet till I pick her up. I had another post on here about her coughing she hasn't coughed than much today but her eyes look watery but they've looked like that for a couple of days know can anybody help me out with this please Thank You Lisa Stuhr P.S. I have another Dog named mellow and she never goes around him well tonight went straight to him and turned her butt to him and he licked her could she be in heat? theirs no blood or swelling Thanks Again Lisa Stuhr

she could well be in heat, not all dogs display the outward signs of heat. It can be difficult to tell sometimes. Dont know about the panting though, if it continues i would take her to a vet.

Well, this morning she wasn't panting but she is still coughing i'm giving her some honey everyday to help soothe her throat a little bit she doesn't bark cause that makes her cough but last night scared me cause she would just sit and look up at me panting she wouldn't go lay down or nothing she had to be right at my feet at all times thanks Lisa Stuhr

Sounds like it could be for any number of reasons. Why don't you take your dog to the vet for a check up?

I took my dog for a check up a few weeks ago she got some medicine and her cough went away her eyes even looked better and just a few days ago it started back up again she don't act sick at all now except for the coughing she's not getting worse and she only coughs in the morning and at night yesterday my sister in law cames over and mindy got all excited she seems like herself.
