I just joined and yes it seems that way. Most people I guess, just come to see what others are saying to get advice. I had some questions and I answer the posts if I am in a similar situation and can help.

yeah, I have to admit that I was wondering if I had bad doggy breath or something. Some people get lots of replies, while others (mine) don't. Oh well, I guess I just haven't asked or posted the right kinds of things. It's fun to just come on and read, though. ps. In all the potty training threads I was going to post that my Aussie house broke himself in 24 hours...but figured that that would just '**** ' people off.

Hey guys, I seem to have the same problem, I give heaps of advise, but hardly get replies to my posts, guess it comes down to the amount of time we all have, as some days I'm busy and only gloss over the posts, other days I have time like now and can write in. And yes it probably would have been inappropriate to write in on a post for advise on potty training about your success, not all of us have dogs that train themselves unfortunately, and it can be a very frustrating time, one that makes you want to give your dog away, but you could have written how you did it.

You're right, ell. That is why I didn't bring it up. And in terms of how "I" did it...well, I didn't, he did, and I have no useful advice. My guess is: We got him from a breeder, where all the puppies were kept outside, in August (average daytime temp over 105 F), and he was so glad to get into an air conditioned house that he didn't want to mess it up lol. I feel very blessed to have him, because I know what a headache housebreaking can be.
