I have a 22cm, 8.8 inch tall dog, which weighs 1.3 kilograms...
about how much should i feed it? and how often a day?
the food i am giving are Royal Canin Junior... I feed her at breakfast and at dinner, and give her 'dogurt' for lunch...
at the moment she just keeps eating... she seems to beg for more food...
i am currently giving her a spoonful per meal...

i got my shih tzu when she was 6weeks old. wen she was 2months, i was feeding her 1/4c of dried dog food (eukanuba) softened in water 3x/day and she would still beg for food! maybe you should give her more than a spoonfull:)

Oh my gosh, nowhere near enough, you should be feeding at least 1 cup moistened biscuits daily, split up over 3 feeds. Give her some more before she starves to death. Read the back of the packet, you will need to increase the amount as she grows.

Feed her up, so long as she gets the right amount now, no harm done, not your fault if you were going on the breeders advise, but not all breeders know what their doing, some are novices themselves. Just don't forget to increase the amount as she grows, this can be rapid, and change from week to week, to month to month, depending on the age, keep a check on the packet.
