My dam is on her 61st day of pregnancy, this is her 2nd litter, All she does is lay around. Milk an be expressed, her temp has jumped from around 98 to 99.1 degrees for about three days now. She still eats but only the wet puppy food, she refuses her normal dry dog food. She is not showing signs like panting or "nesting" but she just lies in her box. Her feces are very soft and sometimes drippy. She urinates quite often but then again she just goes back and lies there. Is this normal or am I just anticipating this too much? Please let me know. thanks.....Nathan Tucker

they will usually lie in their box and get used to being in it. it will usually take about 63 days, 2 days befor or 2 days after. if she starts nesting and nothing happens then wait and look for contractions. if she is haveing contractions and the pups dont start to come out then call your vet and see what they say.
good luck

Ironic.....you seem to be in the same situation as I am. What breed is your ***** ? I would wait it out and not depend on the temp method. I hope all goes well update when you know more...maybe you could help me out if you know.
