The pups had diarrea last night. They are all cleaned up to day (mommy cleaned them) and they seem fine. Is it normal for them to have diarrea? They seem to be doing good today. No signs of any more mess. Please let me know. They are 3 days old. [Confused]

Nat, thinking of you & pups... found this on the internet. Looked helpful - see page 2. Need to distinguish between soft & diarrea.

Is there an Emergency Vet Centre that you can call. Here we have them open 24 hours 7 days a week.

I would call them - explain the situation and ask them if it can wait til next week when you can see your own vet.

that doesn't sounds good. Have they been out much? maybey drinking water from swampy areas? if they have I'm pretty sure they have garida (if thats how you spell it). If you think they do i suggest you should bring them to your vet. The best food for runny stool is cooked rice and boiled eggs. It should be great for a temporary time. Hopefully it also ends up harder than before [Smile]
