Topic: Need help with puppy's eye

My dog gave birth about 10 days ago and all the puppies eyes are open but one of them has one open and the other isn't we were looking at it and it looks like it had dirt in it, so my husband and I tried to clean it but it is still won't open. Can anyone tell me what I can do until I can get a hold of my vet?Thank you in advance.

![[Smile]](smile.gif) Let nature take its course. It may take a couple more days to open. If it looks goey then you may need to take the litter to the vet with the dam to make sure it doesn't have conjunctivitis. Otherwise it can take 14 days for their eyes to fully open. Congrats on your litter. Enjoy them.
