Don't panic, your dog will be fine, he would have to consume at least 3 or more pieces of chocolate for it to be an overdose, the size of your dog will make the difference between how much they consume to overdose, so a bigger dog could eat 1/4 or more of a block.
Not saying they can eat chocolate....

Don't panic - that small amount won't even phase him. But ask your sister not to leave them around. You'd be surprised to what lengths your little guy might go to get more of it.

I would also say not to panic..Easter of 2003 my dog got into some M&M's (not many) and he was fine.

You will notice very quickly if there are any problems. It actually takes two or three bars to do damage. Frosty ate a few pieces and it didn't hurt him.

chocolate has cumulative effects and different dogs have different tolerance levels. Dont worry if your dog picks up the odd bit by accident but do be careful. Even if the chocolate intake is well spread out it can still cause damage. Be especially careful of dark chocolate - there is enough of the poisonous substance in a single square of dark chocolate to kill a labrador.
Your little dog will be fine with a single smartie, but dont go giving him bars of the stuff!
