Why does my dog eat soooo much grass!!! I know they say its because theyre stomach is upset...He eats it EVERYTIME he goes outside...I let him out to use the bathroom and he is more interested in grazing...It happened last year & he had a tape worm...They said that is what caused it but he continued to do it even after I treated him with the medication...Does my dog like the taste of grass or should I take him to the vet?

Mine do it especially if there is new grass growth. My little Ariel LOVES brocoli and eats it raw.

Several local breeders recommend giving dogs fresh raw vegtables like lettuce, carrots, etc.

Maybe you have a pup who would like some vegs.

Don't worry, completely normal behaviour, and given half the chance mine will eat the bird seed I leave out for our native birds, my indoor pot plants, vegies of any kind etc.
Your vet is correct, if they have upset tum they eat the grass, it makes them vomit.
They vomit up the worms. But not all grass eating is from that, they are not just meat eaters, they are vegetarians too.

It's actually good for their digestive tract. It helps them to clear out their bodies and keep everything going smooth.
