Hi! Ive started mixing vegetables to my pups kibble since he's started to get picky so I had to entice him with vegees. So far he loves them and its been such a relief My question is, is it ok to feed them vegees everyday? Ive been giving him carrots, cauliflower, cabbage and squash...I just cut it up in tiny cubes and mix it with his kibble. I would say he'd eat around 1/4-1/2c of this mix daily. Does it follow that vegees are as healthy for them as it is for us?

Normally I wouldnt think it a big deal. You always have to be careful when mixing food with Kibble that you maintain the balance (normally refers to the calcium to phosphorous ratio)
In this case, I would refer you to a vet, as youve said that your dog may have a liver problem. I "think" there are prescription dog foods available that may be best suited for a dog with a diagnosed liver problem.
If its OK to feed normal diet (via your vet) Solid Gold makes a Holistic Kibble it is designed to act as a base for home cooked or prepared meals. Also you might look up some of the BARF recipe's. This may help with the Balance issue.

There should be no problem with it. I feed my dog about 2/3 of the reccomended meal size on the kibble packaging and add a mix of meat and vegetables into it. Most fruits and vegetables are fine. Overdose of sugars may cause upset stomachs though.
