I have a Shi-Tzu thats 10 years old i got him when he was one. since i have owned him he has suffered from constant itching problems. He has a rash on the skin which he bites until he bleeds, the vets gave him a cortozone shot once that was suppose to help for 3 months but only helped about 2 weeks. Ive tried shampoos anti-itching sprays, lotions, aveeno bath, hotspots and about all over the counter itching products ive found and nothing. The vet mentiond steriods may help him but would have serious side affects...... anyone have any suggestions or alternative treatments?
he is miserable and i would love to find somthing to give him some ease....
