My dog had a very sensitive stomach when he was young also. What we did was, limited his diet to a kibble only, but only fed him about 75% for about about 4 days.

Every day, we gave him a little less that a tablespoon of 50% pepto-bismol, 50% corn syrup.

It was a little messy, and he got a pink face, but it was what the breeder suggested and it worked (and he liked the pepto). After we were very gradual with food introduction, starting with carrots and chicken dogs.

diarreha in a pup at this age can be very serious, don't let it go for too long, it can be from other reasons than what might seem the obvious, he can dehydrate within 24 hours and die. If it is just really soft poo every couple of hours it is not really diarrehea, if it is a browny, grey colour and comming out constantly you need the vets now!!!

Probably just the switch in food then, you need to take at least 2 weeks to change it over, I don't advise changing in the first week of homecoming, it is upsetting, new, adventerous enough, to upset their tums. Then a gradual change over 2 or so weeks. You could try increasing the original diet again and try to change more gradually.

thanks for the info thumper went to the vet this morning and got a clean bill of health thank godness i was relieved about that , they found that he can not be breed because his testicles are not dropped down and one of them is attached inside and cant be felt so he will have to be fixed as soon as possible, but this is not a problem because i didnt want to breed him ,he is a family pet like my other dogs.Im happy for the good news [Smile]

When my dog was 8-20 weeks it wasn't uncommon for him to have diarreah, my vet said that sometimes they have touchy stomaches, but i am not a vet, so i can't give medical advice, i would say if it presists, go to the vet or check out some of the vet sites.

I got Coconut a couple weeks ago and she had diarrhea a while. She was on dry food with some water to soften it, and once I took out the water, she was fine. It's very common for young puppies to have diarrhea. If you see any other symptoms pop up, take the baby to the vet.
