My shih tzu was diagnosed with a liver problem weeks ago but now has been given a clean bill of health But i noticed that his urine is alot yellower than my pugs urine. It doesnt really have a foul smell though. I asked my vet about it and she said it might be his lack of interest in drinking water. I tried to observe his drinking schedule and he seemed to be drinking as much as my pther pup. Would anyone have an idea what reason this could be? thanks!

Could be from any medications, his diet, if different from your other dog. If he is now off any medications and his diet the same as your other dog, give it a few days to return to normal, if your vet is happy, he should be fine.

everything Ellierat said - plus yes you are right that a dog that drinks less will concentrate their urine more to avoid dehydration. Not too much of a concern unless he is displaying other signs of dehydration. Lou
