are avacado's poisonous to dogs?
i see there on the poisonous list,
but my dogs eat and love them.

This might be something you want to ask you vet about.I didn't know that grapes could hurt a dog until my vet told me.A good vet tries to keep up with these things

There is a difference between the plant and the fruit.

For example tomato plants are members of the nightshade family (Toxic) but it is impossible to eat enough tomatoes to do harm.

Looked on internet. The sites don't even agree. Some say all parts, some seeds only, and it's not listed as one of the most toxic.

Other listings which blew me away: ONIONS, APPLE SEEDS,

And they do say is amount of material to body weight in most cases. IE 100lb dog can eat more of an item before showing any symptoms.
