Today, when I came home from work, instead of greeting me at the door excitedly, my dog was found hiding in the upstairs bathtub. He has been trying to get back in their all evening. He is a 3 year old shih tzu we adopted about a year and a half ago. He has never been in that bathtub before and he usually follows us everywhere. Any suggestions????????

It sounds like something frightened him and the bathtub feels secure OR something in the bathroom has drawn his attention (is there a window by the tub?)
Let him back in and go about your normal routine. He will soon be back to your heels.

Yes I would guess that there was something in the tub that caught his attention, he may not have been able to get back out once in and got a fright because it is slippery and hard to get a grip.
