Ariel (4 month old rotti) seems to get hiccups a lot. She also seems to have a tendancy to gulp food. She has thrown up on a couple of occasions (today she had a belly full of one of my pine trees & grass).

Any one else have a hiccuppy puppy.

Conan hiccups all the time! I think its because he eats so fast. The hiccups pass within a few minutes. Glad to know someone eles has a hiccuping dog too! [Razz]

If your dog is eating grass they must need it. Put something in the food, like a clean toy, and see if that slows them down.

Mario - she's 4 months old. I won't be surprised if in her poop I found change for a dollar. I asked my vet, it's perfectly normal and harmless.

At 5 months Ariel simply stopped getting them. Tummy must have grown to fit the appetite

Yeah, my puppy hiccupped up until a couple weeks ago. I always thought something was wrong, but nothing ever was, thank goodness [Smile]
