Hey everyone, i am new to this forum, but i thought you guys would like to know about a product that i found. Its called PetRefresh, my chocolate lab loves it. He stoped drinking out of the toilet and hose and stuff. The thing that caught my attenchion was their saying..."If you don't drink tap water, why should you make them?" and the more i thought about it the more i realized what they were saying was true. Now i buy a case once a month, and i think it is the best thing i have ever done. If you want to find out more i think their web site is petrefresh.com. i go there to look for new flavors once or twice a week because i want to get the new bad breath control when it comes out.

[Roll Eyes] whatever next, tap water always has been and always will be good enough for my dogs. Tap water is safe for human consumption so i sure as heck aint gonna waste money buying in bottles for the dogs when i dont drink bottled myself.

I agree that if you drink the tap water then it should be fine for dogs... but there was a small gas spill at my house a few years ago and the DEP still says the well water is not completely "clean" (they are treating it, etc...) now, why, if the water was not safe for human consumption, would I give it to my animals? I don't, however, but bottled water. I tried that and almost went broke!! lol, I just bought a $20 filtration pitcher (Brita or something) and refill it every day. That's what we drink and what my dog and cats drink....

Yes I do tend to agree with you Lou, I would prefer to spend the money on good Food for them, and the way mine have a drink we would go through 3 bottles a day per dog. If the main reason for switching was because of the toilet drinking, put the lid down, problem solved.
Sorry xyz but I can't see the value myslef, but if you have found a product that you feel works for you then that is all that really matters. Hey!

I had to comment! Bottled water for humans IS tap water except they add sodium to make you thirsty so you'll drink more. All the "filtration" they talk about is the same thing that your tap water goes through. Check out the ingredients on bottled water...it's the SAME as tap water if you look into it. You're paying for advertising and the "better taste" of bottled water is simply the psychological effect of advertising.

You wanna know something really crazy?? Aquafina has blue food coloring added to it to make it seem more like a fresh mountain stream or some such nonsense.

Most bottled water is city water with things added, but here in Maine we have "Poland Spring"... it actually is from springs in the area.... whatever...it doesn't matter, it's still expensive lol

I think that the petrefresh post was an advertisment, anyway....
