Hi I have Angel (Malty-Pom)She is 14 weeks she has been vomiting today ..just clear liquid since about 10 this morning..maybe about 5 times..she is drinking and she pooped fine...I gave her some toast about and hour ago..I put white cooked rice in her bowl today but she never tasted it...She has been a little listless but I just took her out side and she walked around the whole yard with me...she has kept the toast squares down and is acting livelier now..Any other hints for her..I will take her in tomorrow if she is still sick..but she has been drinking and peeing fine so I know she is not dehydrated...I have Bella who is a 3 year old yorkie but she is not sick...

A dog relies on it's nose to find and eat food.
You could try adding a little beef broth to the rice, to encourage an appetite, warm it a little.
If she has kept the toast down that is a good sign.
Was there any grass in the vomit?
When did she last eat before giving the toast?
Did you happen to worm her?
Did she have vaccinations not long ago?

Hi..yes i will add some broth..no grass in vomit and its been about four weeks since her shots and worming..
she is playing with toys tonight so I think she is doing much better..I am just always curious as to what makes them get sick..She is litter box trained so she doesnt go outside that much to eat something weird....and she is so young that I dont give her many treats or tastes...But thank you so much for the advice

She is only very young still, they can get tummy upsets easily, even in her normal daily diet, depending on what you feed, too moist, too dry etc.
You really need to let her have some access to grass at least once a day, if she doesn't eat it that is ok, but they normally eat grass to make themselves sick, they know if their gut is upset and do this on purpose to clean it out.
You can easily grow some in a couple of pots, and rotate them.
Try her with small amounts of food more often for a couple of days, let her near some grass, if she eats it you will know her tummy is still upset.
