Topic: Pink patch on Lab puppy's nose

I have a six month old lab puppy with a little pink patch on his nose. It's grown a little bigger over the last couple of days. Has anyone seen this before? Should I put some ointment on it or take him to the vet?

Does it have a scab? is it peeling? or just a plain pink blemish? What colour is your lab?
When they dig and use their noses it can become pink, in yellows and black labs.
If it is cold where you are they get what is called a winter nose, where the pigmentation of the whole nose will turn to the liver pigmentation, but it will return to normal in warmer weather.

It's just a plain pick spot--he is a black lab--probably nothing to worry about.
