Whiskeys ging under the knife for his neuter and back dew claws are being removed. Why is it I am never nervous until I get home without them? Any suggestions on what I should do when he gets home are much appreciated.

Prepeare a comfortable place to sleep, probably the crate with a blaknet over it and some soft blankets inside. Keep a bowl of water just outside the crate. Give him some food that's been softened with water so it's easier on him while he's weak. AAnd follow the doctor's rules about meds.

I get the feeling that you're going to be bothered by the surgery more than him. If all went well, you might not even notice a difference in him. He's young, healthy and these aren't invasive like the female surgery.

I wouldn't go running races with him for the next three - ten days but let him show you what he's up for.

Let us know. Hugs & Kisses to make it better. [Razz]
