The vet confirms that Ariel will be an excellent candidate to become a canine blood donar. THEY LIKE HER TOO!!!. Excellent veins - gentle dog - great temperment.
I have all the paperwork filled in so I'll fax it off and if they accept her (they should) she'll be able to give blood in January 2005.
This way still be doing her part to help out sick dogs. I've also let my vet know that if he ever needs her for an emergency blood donar - I only live 5 minutes away and would be willing to come in.
I gave blood in my youth too.
