Has anyone experienced their dog having urine leakage right after the spay. Ariel seems to be in good shape no pain or swelling but she's leaking pee.
I noitced it during our afternoon walk that it seemed like she wanted to pee & pee & pee but only a few drops. Now she's leaking.
I've never had it before ... I hope they didn't damage anything.

I had the same problem with Whiskey two weeks later and it seems to have faded.

It seems that she got it under control last night. At least there was no pee in her bed or room.
I called the vet and he said it might have been a reaction to discomfort. Maybe I should have given the pain killers after all but she really doesn't seem to need it.
Thanks for your reply. How did the dew claws finally turn out. All the bleeding stopped?

So Ariel's got a little infection in her scar. I had noticed a little blood on tuesday which I attributed to her running jumping and generally being a 6 month old pup.
Then it started raining like Noah's gotten another call. She's been getting quite wet just going out for our walks.
So last night - guess what I noticed. A little bit of pus and swelling. So off we went to the Vets this am so he could confirm. Antibotics and polysporin all around for the next five days.
I sure wish I owned stock in polysporin. I'd be a rich lady - sitting at home playing with my dogs.

Hope she gets better soon, cuddles and kisses to Ariel. Also I wrote you a great long email Fri night, but computer is playing up, the darn thing froze just as I was about to sign off and send. Not game enough to write another, will be formatting computer today, so if I'm off for a while you will know why. Not as computer literate as I thought!! LOL.

Did you get the pictures? Still haven't found the all of Dax's but the ones in frames survived our renovations.
Dax got a bath today so maybe we'll go get more pictures taken.

Well, Ariel's got some potential but I would love to get her into Weimlovers excerise class. I'm just a push over ... I think all of them are very very very beautiful - and I wouldn't kick them out of my house for doggy breath.
