Hi!

Coco and I were playing in the park when I noticed that she was trying to eat something. When I got it out of her mouth it looked like a tooth. After checking her mouth I realized it was her canine and it had broken off with part of it still intact in her gums. Is this normal? Will she be OK? She is 5 1/2 months old, will another grow in?

Was it a baby tooth or an adult canine. Baby teeth mean there's a new one underneath.
