I just recently got a new puppy, white husky, and upon bringing her home...she had these bugs. all over... i called the vet and described them to him. he told me that it was lice. i am still creeped out. i guess my question is...has anyone else experienced this...and am i going to be able to get rid of it? I don't want my other dogs to get it. I have the Adams flea, tick, lice spray. I'm going to use it tomorrow. so if anyone can give me some advice, I would greatly appriciate it. Thank you

This is a really bad year for bugs and parasites in Wisconsin because of the wet weather. Spray all of your dogs, not just the one that is infected. And consider flea bombing your house. These bombs take care or alot of bugs, not just fleas. I am totally creeped out by bugs this year. Heebie Jeebies.

I washed her with flea & tick shampoo and sprayed her down with the flea, tick, & lice spray...comed her out with a lice comb...washed her again tonight...didn't see a thing...bleaching and washing her beding right now... I just had never heard of dog lice before...I was not only shocked, I was extremely grossed out...she's so beautiful, I felt so bad for her....thanks again...
