On july 4th, my 11 year old min pin got a sticker in her paw. Like we always do we took it out. The dog crys till u take it out. But thats alll normal. but now she keeps on licking the paw. The space between the pads are raw ans sollown. I don't know what to do. We put prodix on it everyday, and I'v started to make a booty out of gaze, but it won't get better. We have to take it off at night so that our other min pin, (being 2 years old, and thinks it's a nice chew toy). Our 11 yearold have bad teeth and a heart murmer, so we can't do to much. If you know of anything that might help please write back or e-mail me @ inmyworld4ever@yahoo.com
thanks alot
Mac

You could try cool compress to reduce the swelling so you can have a good look to see if there's an actual wound. She may need to go to vet or antibotic if it's infected.

you can also make a mix of a no bite lotion and a topical ointment or spray to discourage chewing/ licking.

Sounds like it has got infected, you may need to visit your vets for antibiotics.
