Constipation is for the puppy I assume? I would tend to wait just a little, you could give just a little castor oil from supermarket, but only a tiny bit from an eyedropper, but if she hadn't been feeding much, she wouldn't have much to poop, you could try weakening the formula for the next feed. You can do this at any time but not for long as they have to have the formula as stated for the nutrician. Is she doing wees still?

LOL. here too. It is good your little girl is not interesed at the moment, and you are in practice for your new arrival, if she is jealous of your attention to puppies, maybe a good experience for her in advance. Try about half a ml of castor oil for the puppy, see if that helps, she may get the runs though. I have to go offline now for a while, my older son is in town and I have to go pick him up. will come on again later, couple hours. Keep well, talk again before you go to bed. It is now 9am on Sunday here.
Have been looking everywhere for a conversion of half a Ml. can't find it anywhere, but it is less than 1/4 of a teaspoon. couple of drops from an eyedropper. Castor oil is not a cooking oil, you will find it in your health section, if not castor then parrafin oil. [ July 17, 2004, 03:53 PM: Message edited by: ellierat ]

Hi Andrea, just wanted to wish you well. I've been following this post. Go ahead and take a laxative. It want hurt you. If you aren't very constipated-try a more natural laxative or prunes. Gonna go now and get out of the way.

ellierat.... for the conversion, Andrea has been speaking in ccs... and 1mL is 1cc, so, 1/2 mL would be 1/2 cc....don't know if this is useful to you guys or not! And, from the link below, you can find conversions... 1 tsp is 5mLs
Good luck!!

LOL Barbara! Weimlover- thank you! I've been wondering if ccs and mls were the same amount because some of my syringes are in ccs and my bottles are in mls. I thought they looked like the same amount but you can never be too sure
Ellierat- Very true that this is probably preparing my Laney for her new baby brother. I hadn't thought of that. She still hasn't pooed. I'm going to town tomorrow so I will pick up some castor oil. Our time difference is crazy. Hope you had a nice visit with your son.
