My dog (5 year old King Charles Spaniel) has an interesting behavioral quirk. Whenever you give her a cookie of any sort, she runs around the house whining at everyone and everything. It can take her up to ten minutes before she'll actually eat the cookie. She doesn't do this when she's given food on a plate or in a bowl or in her dish, it only seems to be something that she carries around. I'm really curious to why she does this, any suggests?

I don't know. I've never seen a dog do this before.
My Mickey will whine, spin in circles and act all crazy when we say the word cookie. But, man can he eat up the treat when it's given.
Good luck

Some dogs just have some quirky behaviors. As long as she seems fine eating it - I wouldn't think there would be a problem. The only thing I can think of is that it might hurt her teeth to chew it. But if she doesn't whine when she eats it - I wouldn't worry too much.
