well in our house we have a side door leading to the backyard and every day i take cleo out of the door to the backyard so she can do her dootie and one day we were sitting on the couch and she sterted to get restless and she jumped off the couch(thinking she was going to use the bathroom in the house)i followed her and to my surprise she went to the side door , sat down, and waited for me to let her go out side so that she could go to the bathroom. when she got outside ,shure enough she went to the bathroom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations! I think the proudest day of my puppies life was when he went poop outside for the first time!
