I know this is going to sound discusting to most of you but I figure whatever works around our house we do. When I first got my dalmatian 3.5 years ago he was 3 months old and we figured out after a couple of accidents in the house that he wasn't potty trained. I told my hubby to take him out side and show him what to do. (since I am totally against crate training, sad, long story)It was really cute, my hubby went to the bathroom a few times in the same spot that day and Colby,(my puppy at the time, big horse now) LOL that same day wanted to go out everytime he had to go, he wanted to smell what my hubby had left behind, to this day he still goes potty in the same spot and fortunately we live where this could be done. This also worked with my mini schnauzer who was never trained and I just got him last year at 6 years old from the Humane Society. It's a hoot, never thought a dog that old could be trained but it worked... Just a funny little story. LOL [LIST]
