Have a 7 month fe german shepherd- looking at private 1:1 training vs group. any thoughts as to which is best. thanks

group definately. it gives your dog a chance to socialise with other dogs as well as learn obediance. If you want quick results maybe have a couple of "booster" sessions one on one to speed things up a bit. Lou

Yea i agree. That way your dog won't get soo hiper, when other dogs are around. If he is around with other dogs, he'll get used to it, and will be good b/c, you can award him. If you're going for basic obedience - I would suggest the group classes. However, if you've got a couple behavior issues you want to work on - you might want to get some individual lessons in. We did group for our last dog - but also met seperately with the trainer to work on his aggression.
