I'm so frustrated! I had so much success in teaching cocoa, my 3month old pup, the basic sit-stay-come command but now that I got a new pup in the house, it's like she's totally forgotten the come command or just simply does not want to follow me anymore, especially when they're playing around. Its so difficult to have to say come and when he doesnt come, I always have to come get him. I stay in a condo thats quite limited in space so I never felt I had to put her on a leash but now that he's starting to view my commands as optional, do you think putting him on a leash while training is the only wise way to re-teach him? There are no training schools here so everythings hands-on for me. A bit of help would really be appreciated. Thanks!

It is like the old saying, birds of a feather stick together, you are no longer number one in you dogs life, there is one of his own kind, and while there was just you and your dog he/she looked upon you as their only friend in life, give it time and your dog will soon come back to you, and so will your pup, as you are the one that supplies the food, it is a phase, something new, won't be long and you will be number one in both of their lives. Look upon it as a distraction for a short while. Don't worry!! ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

Also I shoud have said, train the pup, put him on the leash, because while you have the pup, your older dog will naturally be jealous and want to be with you too, he should start to listen again when the pup is under control.
