I have a 2 and a half year old chihuahua. He is a neutered male. Yesterday I got a miniature doberman pincher that is about 10 weeks old. Lucky my 2 and a half year old dog was introduced with him yesterday. They did okay. They were playing with each other, but then when Toby, my new dog, gets close to his toys and bed Lucky growls and tries to bite Toby. If he is not close to his things lucky is fine with Toby. I had to get luckys bed out of his crate and put it in the side of his crate, because Toby is locked up in his crate so he can't be harmed while I'm asleep. When Lucky saw him yesterday locked in the crate he tried to bite and barked to him from the outside of his crate. Today he is fine seeing him inside the crate. ANy idea on what I could do to make them be best buddies and get along fine and not hurt each other?
