Hey guys! I bought my dog a Halti Headcollar yesterday and it worked like magic. She learned how to Heel that same day. I smell something fishy here.

It is too good to be true. There has to be a catch.
Is there anyway I can mess up with the Halti? Like if I use it too much would she still pull when she has her normal collar on? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

Some people do say that when they try to use a normal collar for walking their dog after using a halti, that the dog goes back to its usual pulling of the lead. However this isn't so for all dogs. Just make sure you are using lots of praise when your dog is walking at your side properly. When you go to use a normal collar, do the same. Lots of positive reinforcement. [Smile]

If your dog starts pulling again, go back to the halti for a day. You may need to use it every now and again as a refresher for your dog.
