Jack, my 11 month old Black, had his first novice obedience class last night and I was just so please with his attention span and behavior. The is the only rookie in the class and is the youngest. He placed top in his prenovice class in March but I haven't had much time to work him since then. I'm just a proud mom and wanted to share!

Hey GretaJack, I bet we passed each other in the parking lot! We were in the pre-novice class last night. Unfortunately, Chester will not be the best in his class LOL.

Hey proud mum, good on ya, it's great doing obedience, I love it when you get that first certificate, then it doesn't matter how naughty they can be at home, you just get that certificate out to prove they can be well behaved!! ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)
-------------------- I love my labs.

Ariels into her 4 week now in her first class. My husband thinks it's a waste of time & money. I don't like the smell and atmosphere of the place we go but feel like I'm learning a lot. The dog is brillant so it's obviously my failings that she doesn't have a degree in puppy university.

Thanks everyone! Let me tell you, when I have people over and tell them my dogs are obedience trained you should the look they get on there face. Greta has been through 6 classes. Jack is only on his second. But they are your typical labs at home. I just moved out of my house and at my new place everyone just has a blast with my crazy labs, making the jump, bark, lick. All the stuff I hate. But when all is said and done I still know that I have controllable labs...well sometimes
