My dog tends to show aggression to people walking by my house. The hair on her back stands up and she barks viciously--even though she is normally a very friendly dog. I know she is attempting to show her protective nature towards her territory, but I need this behavior to end. What are some ideas on a hidden fence or some type of collar training device?? Any other suggestions would be appreciated

If you have the time you can break this habit with training.

Pick a very busy time when there are lots of people going by. Put dog on a leash and sit in front. Any reaction = firm NO no reaction = Good dog.

Tell her very plainly how you want her to behave. Do it often.
