When the weather is cold and there is snow on the ground make sure you don't forget about your dogs sensitive feet. There is protective gear that you can purchase for a pretty low price, or you can get creative and make your own booties for there paws. Either way don't ever leave your dog for long periods of time on the snow without being used to it or without wearing something on his paws.

MY dog is used to the snow. Where i live we get 'bout 4fett or so of snow!She tumbles threw.Its funny watching her run threw the snow.

And also remember that snow salt is also harmful- whether or not your dog is used to the snow. Make sure to either have protective gear on their feet or to wash them off after they come in contact with it. [Smile]
