i am (i think) a responsible owner of a collie/shepard who just moved into this neighborhood a month ago. i have been very nice to everyone i have met here. my problem is that someone has been bringing their small dog to the front of my yard and not cleaning up after it. short of watching my yard until i actually catch someone, does anyone have any advice on how to send a clear message for this person (people) to stop? thanks.

I don't have an answer.

But when do you notice it. When you get home, first thing in the morning, late afternoon. Just try to watch and see who is doing it. Maybe that person is walking their dog and the dog has established a habit of going at that time.

It could be someone who lives nearby.
