Some people favour Pet insurance whilst some tend to favour a savings account for the purpose of a possible crisis arising but what do you think is the best avenue to pursue? Is insurance all it is cracked up to be....Have your say!
Does anybody know anything about www.pet-health-insurance.co.uk ? ![[Wink]](wink.gif) [ August 12, 2003, 02:52 AM: Message edited by: The Hound ]

In my opinion I think collecting money by yourself is a better option than dog insurance as long as you can keep it up. This way you can put how much money you want to in the savings instead of putting in an amount which you have to. Any other suggestions or comments anyone?

Do you not think that it could be tempting to dip into the savings for other things though? If this was the case then your pet could need urgent care at a time when the piggy bank is running low! What did you make of the pedigree insurance place? [ August 13, 2003, 06:57 AM: Message edited by: The Hound ]

Well truthfully if someone really loved their dog they wouldn't even think about dipping into the savings and taking some! That would never be the case if you really loved your dog, you would never have to worry about you running low in your piggy bank.

Hmm, a few questions for a quote on the website. How old is your dog? What is your post code? And what breed is your dog?

I've heard a lot of people say they are quite expensive but I dont think they are too bad myself.Do you know of any other companies that may be worth a look at? What breed of dog do you have anyway? My 5 are proudly displayed on my home page at www.pets-of-pride.co.uk

Hmm they aren't that bad, and I'm not sure of any other companies but I'll have a look around and see what I can find for you. I have a Hamiltonstovare. If you want to see my dogs go to http://www.freewebs.com/rosiethedog. Your dogs are lovely! I'm good at making websites if you need one, I don't charge loads. By the way the website with the pictures was made by my sister, it's pretty rubbish. ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

I went off to take a look at your dogs and i got this '404 - Page Not Found' So unfortunatley I could'nt see them. Have you got any examples of any websites you have built? It would be good to see some of your work and does your offer of a build mean that you dont think much to my little site?

Sounds good to me and I'll be sure to bear you in mind as you obviously have quite a talent! Is it me or are people a bit timid around here as a lot of people at other forums tend to just hop in on peoples threads but they seem to just leave you to it on here. We should try and come up with an idea for a really good thought provoking thread and go for a record response....What do you think? ![[Wink]](wink.gif) [ August 19, 2003, 01:23 AM: Message edited by: The Hound ]

Can you think of a subject that would really get people involved and if possible something that will maybe help me find out a little more about my insurance query? Have a think as I'm sure we can come up with something between us!

LOL! It may be getting popular but it's only us two talking here at the moment! We will have to get hold of a funny story or some jokes or something to try and get people chatting as it's just too **** quiet around here for me!
