my newfie is a purebred, however the owner of the sire of the litter moved and cannot be contacted to get the sire's number and such so the litter could be registerable. is there anyway to find the nessecary information short of finding the owner himself so i can register my dog?

Have you looked at the akc website? I'm not sure what the link is but if you look it up on Google it'll be there. I'm not sure if there could be any other way than still looking for the past owner.

hi ebbymom......the owner of the sire would have to sign a litter registration form....it all sounds sort of fishy....why would the owner of the mother not have had this done????????????....i would be more concerned if they were OFA"D than AKC......it is the breeders responsibility to reg the litter.without both parties signing you will not get papers....
