My husky is itching all the time - and I can't figure it out. I checked him for fleas, and didn't see any - but put on a flea collar just in case. It didn't help.

I'm going to ask my vet about it, but I just wanted to get a couple second opinions.

Dawn - you were right. He's got allergies, so we're putting him on some benadryl and some medicated shampoo and another pill to help with the itching.

The vet thinks that this should clear it up - he said it's actually common in dogs this time of year.

He's doing better. The benadryl seems to be helping a little with his itching, and his belly looks better. It's a seasonal allergy - and we've been really dry in Wisconsin - which doesn't help. It finally rained yesterday and today though, so that might help Neko a little (knock on wood)!
