Hi! I'm new here and I love dogs. I rescued my Border Collie, "Jake," from a abusive family. Cowboy has been in my family since he was a puupy. Cowboy is my Dachshund.
I hope I meet some new friends here!

We have a border collie/red heeler cattle dog mix. She is the most wonderful dog we have ever had....way too smart for the likes of me!!! She has adapted to our way of life and would rather be with us than anything in the world. She has the shape and hair of the border and the white with red like the heeler.... quite a combination.
She was a rescue from the flea market at age 6-7 weeks! Can't imagine life without her.

I have two German Shepherds. Bear- my male, is 7 years old. He's a Black & Tan long haired shepherd. And Chloe- my female, is 2 years old. She is a Red Sable. I got both of my dogs from a breeder who specializes in search & rescue & police work dogs. I can't imagine life without them! They are the best. We keep both of them in the house and even let them sleep with us!

I got to agree Border Collies do make great dogs. I love mine too, and I love my little Dachshund
I wouldn't know what to do without them.
