Hi. We have been looking at electronic dog doors, since we have two cats we don't want outside, but we want our dog to have free access to the backyard. My question: Does anyone have any advice on which type is the best? The cheapest are the electromagnetic. Do they work as they should? More expensive would be the electronic, and then the infrared. I don't need a door that opens by itself, just one that unlocks when the dog comes near. I'd appreciate any tips or recommendations.
