who els thinks that the first litter for every ***** should be sold with a spay/neuter contract. my reason for saying this is that usually when a dog has her first litter the pups grow up without good conformation(i have experienced this with pit bulls im not shure about other breeds), which leads to someone breeding that pup and bringing the standards of the breed down.

a first breeding is no less likely to turn up a champion than a second or third - thats a total myth. We sell ALL our pups that aren't champion quality with a spay/castrate contract - and we make sure it is followed up. My own b.itch has had two litters - turned up two champions out of the first (and two winners that arent officially "champions" yet) and so far only one out of the second (although a couple are well on their way). She had seven pups each time. Its COMPLETELY down to the genetic quality of the parents - nothing to do with how many litters a b.itch has had.

how did i know lou3 would have a problem with this post? by the way im not saying that this is what people tell me, this is what i have experienced first hand so in my case its not just some myth. anyway as i said before, i only have experiences with breeding pits so i cant talk for other breeds.

Mojo, I'm not quite sure what you meant by your last post, but by all appearances, it's inappropriate. I must say though that if you've experienced this, it's all a matter of chance. Eggs are produced at random. No matter what the breed.
