I've always heard that they are missing something in their diet. What kind of food are you feeding your dog?? And there are piis and/or drops you can put in their food that is suppose to deter them from eating their own poo.

There are products out there called Deter or Forbid that you can put in the dogs food and it should make them stop eating it. It worked for one of my pups. Also, it can be their diet as was stated.

It's called sarcophogy (close on the spelling, but probably not right on) and there are various reasons for this. Look it up and find what fits your dog. I saw a lot of this with the wolves and it was instinctual for the moms. They did this in the wild to keep any clues hidden as to their pups being near. Sometimes it seems to carry over to "domestic" doggies. Just make sure you know what you're asking them to bring or you're reaching for when you see them chompin away! I found that out the hard way!! EEEEEWWWWWW ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)
-------------------- Q: Can this dog bite? A: Does it have teeth? If you have to ask that question, you've already earned a bite or two. ...dogs are earth bound angels.
