i'm getting my puppy spayed on 2/16. she is a siberian husky that will be 6 1/2 months old at the time and will probably weight about 38 to 40 pounds. she should be okay with her spay, right?

At her age you should be fine having her spayed. The only reason I would wait is if for some reason she is under weight or has some type of health problem. The sooner the better. Once they hit there heat there's the chance of an oops and you'll have husky and whatever got under the fence puppies. It's also hard on them if they become pregnant early on. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

I certainly wouldn't wait any longer. Unless of course she has some type of health problem.
