While coming home in the car this morning with my Aussie, we pulled up at a light next to a man on his bicycle. This man was focused! He had on all the gear. Riding suit, helmet, water pack with mouth hose, gloves, and he was glaring at the road ahead of him, looking impatiently at the light waiting so he could contine his ride. Then he happened to glance at us. Rio was sitting in the front seat and bestowed a happy Aussie grin to the man. The change in 'bike guy' was incredible. His face softened from the competitive glare. He returned the gift and as the light changed I knew the power of a smile.

Rio's Mom, didn't that smile just make you feel so so good. It's really amazing what our dog's can do for us and other people when we get so caught up in every day life. Something like what your Rio did just made that man's day, and probably your's too.
Sometimes I come in from work feeling very tired, but when Twinkie is so happy to see me, I feel alot better. That especially goes without saying, when every one else is busy with their own lives, and this little dog's eyes are shining and looking so happy. How can I not feel better?
