My shih tzu has these moments when he continiously scratches his nose and eyes. I feel so unconfortable just watching him since I know he must not be feeling so well! Ive checked on his ears and theyre fine so I dont think its ear mites. Theres also no signs of redness for me to think hes allergic to anything. Would anyone have an idea why he does that?

he might have a mild case of hayfever (is it pollen season with you - it is for us) its not terribly uncommon in dogs and nothing to really worry about. Our vet actually recommends piriton! speak to your vet before giving him anything like that though, the ingrediants might be different where you live (dif regulations and such).
